We understand how hard it can be to ask for help and how stressful this life changing decision can be. The admissions staff at FRG is committed to working closely with clients and family members from the first phone call through the arrival at our treatment facility. While this process can often be overwhelming, our admissions team alleviates any stress or fears that may arise throughout this process by providing a supportive and helpful experience. Your needs are our top priority, and our staff is dedicated to offering as much assistance and assurance as possible.
Pre-Assessment
Before admitting to Florida Recovery Group, we will conduct a clinical evaluation by phone. This assessment will address you or your loved one’s medical, behavioral, and substance use history. Our compassionate pre-assessment team member will guide you through a series of questions to better understand your situation. This process will allow our insurance experts to complete an initial pre-certification through your insurance provider to fully maximize your benefits for your stay with us.

Travel & Arrival
Your Admissions Coordinator will stay in close contact with you through the time you arrive at our facility, we will be there to greet you at the airport and safely transport you to our facility. Travel Safely!

What to Bring
Florida Recovery Group cannot accept responsibility for personal valuables brought with you into treatment. We recommend leaving any of your valuables including jewelry, watches, and other sentimental items safely at your home or with trusted relatives. Please be aware that Florida Recovery Group is unable to keep any valuables in our offices. Any valuables brought with our clients will be the client’s responsibility.
It is recommended that you bring the following with you:
- Insurance Card
- Driver’s License or Photo ID
- T-Shirts
- Shorts
- Jeans
- Workout Clothing
- Flip-flops
- Closed-toed Shoes
- Bathing Suit
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Toiletries – as long as non of the products contain Alcohol (such as Listerine, Rubbing Alcohol, Hand Sanitizer, etc.)
- Contact Lenses and/or Related Products
- Prescription medications you are currently taking (in their original container) and a list of any other medications you have been taking with dosages.
We will provide bed linens and pillows during your stay with us.

Through maximizing the benefits you have available on your insurance policy and discussing our financially approachable self-pay rates, we will work with you on determining the most fitting course of payment.
